So this is pretty obviously negative. You've got Jackie O. at her first husband's, John F. Kennedy, funeral mourning his death and a speech bubble with a hat in it... Really?

She's an iconic symbol of a few subjects, including fashion because of her pillbox hats and dress-suits she wore while she was the first lady. I think the composition could be pushed so that the focus is more on her and the hat. I think the hat could be incorporated in a much more subtle way... this is really funny and inappropriate. I don't think it's really ok to make light of the subject matter in that manner. it's kind of a "too soon" kind of thing. I think it would be fine to use Jackie Kennedy, but find a different image or treat this one with a little more respect (sorry to give you a lecture, I just don't think this is a joking matter, people's grief... and it feels like you're really making light of it). I also feel like the image treatment itself is not working. It feels kind of arbitrary and doesn't really add anything to the composition.

your right its negative but i dont agree that its too soon just cause i think people should get over things and not ever poke fun at them. life sucks enough to not make fun of stuff. i was just thinking about her being a fashion icon thats what i thought she may have really been thinking about or saying.

i don't think it's too soon.. after all it's been about 21 and a half years. but i do think it's pretty distasteful. there must be tons of images to choose from, since she is a 'fashion icon' as they say. why not have an image of her wearing 50 of those hats stacked real high? or have a hat to wear on multiple parts of her body. poop (ian wrote that)
